"Tapovan" โ€” a grove of contemplation and learning โ€” lends its name to a centre built to gather, translate and amplify knowledge from and for the 130 countries of the Global South.

To shape a sustainable, equitable and humane future by advancing the knowledge architecture of the Global South.

Mission

To generate, integrate and share interdisciplinary knowledge; connect science with society and policy; nurture ethical and innovative thinking; and build partnerships that advance human wellbeing, sustainability, and the collective aspirations of the Global South, comprising 130 countries.
